The World’s Biggest Sushi Dish

The Umewaka Restaurant in Japan’s Ajo City is well known for its prodigiously-sized sushi rolls. If you make a reservation two days in advance and fork over 15,000 yen, you can order the maki sushi that holds the record for the largest sushi dish in the world. This roll, consisting of twenty different kinds of food wrapped up in two full meters of seaweed and rice, weighs in at almost six kilograms and has a diameter of twenty centimeters.

You may not find anything quite that large at our Japanese restaurant in Bellevue, but you can find a satisfying, high-quality sushi meal all the same. Come and enjoy some of your favorite Japanese classics today!
